The weekend was so filled with cosplay work and shopping that I forgot to post this stuff haha. The whole family + _anatra_ and jiyoon went to the Star Trek movie on opening night at the Richmond Hill theatre.

We ended up making quick shirts/dresses to wear there lol.. My dad requested a Spock shirt, and my mom went with a black turtle neck/leather jacket ensemble with a patch XD. The black collars were kind of failing an hour before we had to leave, so we gave up and wore turtlenecks or crewnecks underneath, blah.

We got there about 2 hours early and started the line for the 9:50pm showing, which was a good idea cause the show was sold out and the line ended up forming 3 wrap arounds and filled up the huge hallway! We were the ONLY ones who dressed up though. Hahah, but the security guards talked to us and we never had to show our tickets to go back and forth waha XD.

The movie was just totally GREAT, though I didn't like the Spock/Uhura. If they hadn't thrown that in there it probably would've almost been up there in my favourites close to The Matrix.


Anyway, in other news we finally got a chance to set up and use our amazing airbrush XD!! Damn I love this little machine so much, it's gonna make custom colouring wigs, fabric, shading, patterning, ALL SORTS OF STUFF so easy and look good! I'm working on my Saiyan boots for Time Chamber Gohan ->

lol I suddenly have a psychic block on all things Hetalia. I can't seem to find the interest to read or look at anything.



DBZ is going super strong though. I don't think I mind so much anymore that people didn't like DBE. Had an intelligent conversation over Youtube (YEAH, what the hell, right?!) about it and... well, at least it's hated more than our DBZ cosplay vids are O_o. We suddenly look and act amazingly.

Anyway, Anime North 2009 is looking to be boring events wise, though I'm looking forward to meeting up with Zorb and Prince Kaboom (cosplay.com names) who are from Manitoba! They're apparently bringing some SSJ Goku and Beginning of Z Vegeta. Also gotta meet up with toguroruki too XD!!

glayish got us a room in the DoubleTree so it will be pretty comfortable getting around. I hope it's good weather like last year, looking forward to actual SUNNY photos and video.

Also, Beyblade is too much hassle, so Glay and I will probably just be the Son Family (ChiChi/Goku/plushieGohan) instead. Lol full DBZ/GT weekend.

I Loved the movie.

IT WAS THE MOST ENTERTAINING THING I'VE SEEN ALL YEAR. Make your own personal opinions as you will, but I haven't laughed so hard in ages HAHAHAH OH GOD!!! IT WAS WONDERFUL!

GOKU/CHICHI forever. First one-true-pairing, last one-true pairing!!!

So it all began with on Thursday. I was awake for virtually 24 hours because I was madly trying to finish a final project early because I knew we would be out all day with the cosplaying and movie business. Mom came and got me from Waterloo and we went back to Toronto where I finally finished the school work at around 2am, then I went downstairs in the basement to help glayish finish her ChiChi costume.

Myself, glayish, and _anatra_ had decided to cosplay as Goku, ChiChi, and Piccolo respectively from the beginning of Z for the 7:45pm show at the AMC theatre. Around 1pm Glay and I headed down to Anatra's, and we hung out at her apartment while she got her re-done Piccolo arms and hood complete.

We suited up and then went to all-you-can-eat at a great Japanese restaurant where the waitress' knew who we were XD. Geezus, Piccolo and I went to the washroom to touch up the face paint and when we came out some guy completely sniper photographed us and amushed us in the dining room with his nice camera whipped out from no where O_o!!!

People on the street downtown knew who we were too, either yelling "DragonBall" or something like that. HAHA we got our photo taken so many damn times. Especially on the subway. We got to Dundas Square, and some dude immediately ran up and asked if we were going to the movie. We said yeah, and he told us it'd be a dissapointment. >_> Eh. Whatever, I yelled random crap at him and we went to go get our tickets lol.

Loooool even more photos, and our cashier at the food/snack stand was awesome and talked to us about DBZ.

When we go into the theatre, it was relatively full, and we got asked for a photo again. A group of guys yelled 'Do the Spirit Bomb!', so I put my hands in the air LOOOOl.

Anyway, we sat down and I started hyperventilating and a cold sweat broke out because for the past year, I've only ever been on the end of negativity, scorn, and promises of how terrible it would be.

But you know what?

I am fucking GLAD that I never let those horrible opinions get to me. Because I enjoyed it so much! glayish and I just couldn't stop laughing and grinning at the interactions, ESPECIALLY the Goku/ChiChi scenes! In fact there were multiple times where the whole theatre broke out into laughter at truly humorous moments.

Yeah it wasn't an exact rendition of DragonBall, but why the hell should it have been? It was a new and entertaining spin on something I love dearly, and have for over 10 years.

And.. judging from that extra snippet scene after the credits, I REALLY REALLY want a sequel!

After the movie I was very happy, and glayish and I are going to go see it again this weekend.


Oh yeah.. and in the end I never got to take a single shot of us on my camera!!!! When we got back we were way too tired and it was too dark. But that guy from the restaurant will hopefully e-mail the photos he took to us, so I might have something to show.

Hrughagah... I'm gonna try to do a doujinshi. But I'm starting to worry. How the hell am I going to keep this shit classy? As soon as I see a NC-17 label everything I write or draw tends to become so pornorific and chock full of the most horrible innuendo jokes that only a desperate FOOL would consider it good. Fuck.

I WILL make this sensual rather than stupid.

I guess this means I should start with a script and choosing an art style first... I'll aim to keep it under 15 pages... I don't want to lose all steam like I have on comics in the past.

Eh what else.. Oh right. I've got a whole new bunch of Hetalia avatars I want to use... but it's so difficult to part with the ones I have right now. Some of my avatars are older than CHILDREN out there. Sure they are ugly and kind of random, but I've always found it hard to convey what I feel without coming off like a creep (CALLED THIS 48 TIMES on YouTube, I've been keeping track) so they kind of fit that I guess -_-.

In other news, birthday went by on the 22nd (THANKS TO ALL WHO SAID HAPPY B-DAY). MTAC was hilarious and we had a load of fun looking stupid as usual in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX cosplay! They were giving out free DragonBall Evolution Live Action movie posters and I took about 13 massive ones. If I seriously die from the movie, line my grave with them plz, thanks.

Oh and _anatra_'s gift was by far the best birthday gift I have recieved in YEARS.

Man, they sounded exactly the same. HAHA :|!!! I enjoyed listening to them, but I didn't end up using them XD. I think we can negotiate different noises and sounds you can do for me in the future though wahaha.

In other news I managed to have an allergic reaction during class yesterday. We were in a different room because of a special speaker and I found a seat at a table where some horrible potted purple flower made me start sneezing and break out in hives. I caused kind of a disturbance when I had to get the flower moved to the otherside of the room. >_<;
